Hi all! I’m a techie that does computer consulting. I live in Long Island, NY and I have a wonderful daughter Taylor and Mini Schnauzer Winston. I have always done some kind of paper crafting ever since I was little when I made entire car dashboards out of foamcore. I discovered my love of card making in January of 2011 while watching a show on PBS. I saw them make a waterfall card and I thought I can do that so I went out and got some supplies and made one. My friend Sandy introduced me to Stampin’ Up! in August of that year and I became an Independent Demonstrator in September. I’m completely hooked and take some time to make something every day. It relaxes me and is my wind down at the end of the day!

Hey There! I was born and raised in beautiful San Diego County! Grew up with divorced parents riding horses and spending my summers in Virginia Beach and the surrounding areas! In 2004 I moved to Northern Nevada where my now husband was stationed in the Navy. Currently we are located on the far eastern plains of Coloroado with 3 kids. I have only been making cards for a little over 3 years! I became a Stampin’ Up! Demo the fall of 2013 because I have really limited sources locally to buy stuff! Since then I have made cards, mini-albums and 3-D Projects usually for events at school and friends. This is my creative outlet! I’m a lot “Country” and a little bit “Rock N Roll”. Horses still have my heart though!

Hola Amigos! I’m originally from Norwalk, California and have lived all over the world, but currently live in Fairfield, California compliments of the U.S. Air Force. On June 1st I retired from the Air Force after 25 years of military service to continue the next chapter of my life. As a child I used to make cards from any type of paper I could get my hands on. I would sell the cards at the local grocery store while my mom shopped. In high school I made scrapbooks before I even knew what it was called. I became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in October 2011 as a birthday gift to myself. During long deployments my husband would mail me my supplies and I’d make cards and teach classes to my fellow comrades to relieve boredom and stress. It became a form of therapy for me and it continues to be extremely therapeutic with my service connected injuries. This hobby is the best addiction anyone can have and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Hello!!!  I was born and raised in northern Wisconsin. After high school I did several years in Yellowstone National Park as mainly an auditor for some of the lodges (most notably Old Faithful Inn). After moving back to Wisconsin, I spent 10 years in Green Bay as the Finance Coordinator for the county’s domestic violence shelter. We moved back to the northwoods about 2 years ago to care for my father.  Although frustrating at times, one awesme thing about being a stay at home caregiver is that I usually have time each day to create cards!!  I have been card making for about 9 years, introduced to it when my sister would show me cards she received from a coworker, who then became my stampin friend. I love to color images and to ‘fussy cut’ them for my cards. It relaxes me – silly, I know!!  I have three trusty canine assitants: Scout, Nikki and Sammi.

Hi!  I am a 50 something life long Tennesseean.  I was born and raised in Memphis but moved to Middle Tennessee about 19 years ago.  I started my career in the Shipping Industry in Memphis exporting cotton at a small Cotton Company.  I have spent the last 17 years as an Import Manager for Retail Store Chain.   I met my sweet husband a little over seven years ago and together we have five grown kids, 5 sweet granddaughters, and 5 crazy dogs.  I have been a scrapbooker for about 12 years and have been a stamper and cardmaker for about 5 years.  I became a Stampin’ Up! Demo to feed my addiction to all things stamping about a year and a half ago.  Who would have thought that the purchase of a couple of stamps for scrapbooking would turn into this??

I became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator after seeing a catalog and never even picking up a stamp! I was hooked from the very beginning! My sister and I “shared” our supplies when we started (we only lived 1500 miles apart) and I have never looked back! While my style has evolved over the years, I like the look of clean, simple cards overall and really enjoy the challenge of making cards that impress people! I have a wonderful husband who never complains about the constant flow of “the ladies” though our home, 2 wonderful kids that think this is all “normal” and the sweetest golden retriever who thinks the stamping ladies are here to love her! We live in Iowa and when I am not stamping, I am knitting or taking Selfies with goofy faces!

Hi!  I’m Crystal, aka “Super Stamp Girl.”   I’m a red Swedish Fish eating, Chai drinking, thrift store shopping, country line dancing, Kate Middleton admiring, celebrity tabloid reading, crafty kinda gal.  I started off scrapbooking in 2005 when I got married and quickly ran out of things to scrapbook. . . Yay, for no kids!  For fear of looking like the crazy cat lady if I said, “Here, let me show you the 9th photo album of my cats,” I needed a new hobby!  I joined SU in 2012 when the lady I was going to for stamp camp moved to Maine and was looking for someone to keep her group together.  Best. Move. Ever!   I’m a paper freak and bling fanatic who favors neutral colors and a clean and layered style.  In real life, I’m a forensic photographer who lives in Western Massachusetts with my husband and two furbabies who I’ll often feature crafting along with me.

Hi there! I was born and raised in the mountains of Virginia in a small town called Christiansburg.  When I was 24 I hiked up my big boy pants and moved to Florida where I lived for 10 years and now I am a transplant in Chicago.  At nature I knew I was a city boy! I am married to a wonderful guy and I have two pit bull mixes named Ivy and Izel.  They are both animal shelter rescues! Adopt, don’t shop!
I started making greeting cards in October of 2015 and I have not stopped since. I never felt I was that much of a creative person but I have been working on my craft. I learn something new every day when it comes to card making.  I try to get in some crafting time as much as possible.  Some other things I like to do is watch movies, taking photographs and explore the city of Chicago.

Hi everyone!  I am a farm girl from the beautiful state of Pennsylvania!  I am married to John, have a lovely daughter Dana and a sweet 6-year-old granddaughter Cassidy, who is the apple of my eye!   I have been  stamping for about 15 years and a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator since 2002, but I really love all kinds of crafts, especially cross stitch, knitting and sewing!  My stamping style runs the gamut….I could do something clean and simple one day, then vintage and grunged the next!  I do love challenges, and I could stamp Christmas cards all year long, I just LOVE making Christmas cards!  Thank you, Justin and the SIP team, for inviting me to be a guest designer!

Hello! My name is Jennifer Timko. I am so excited to be a guest stamper this month with the Stamp, Ink Paper Team! A little about me. In my “day job”, I am a pilot for United Airlines flying the Airbus 319/320 out of Washington DC. I have been married for 15 years and have two boys (13 and 10) who are avid soccer kids. So I am a soccer mom, for sure! Whenever possible, I sneak down into my stamp room to create. It is my happy place!! I tend to be a clean stamper but I love lots of little details! Can’t wait to see all the creativity this month!

Amy K - SIP Guest Aug 2016

I’m Amy Koenders, I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for about 4 years and I’ve been stamping for about 6 years. I took many art classes when I was much younger and have always enjoyed painting and creating. I’m glad that I’ve found such a fun hobby to share with so many others. I’m married to my wonderful husband Lance, who has graciously put up with my stamping habit (and ever growing stash) without complaining a bit and I have two little girls that are growing up far too quickly! I’m also a runner and have finished many road races in every distance from 5K to Marathon. I’m easy to spot out on the road, I’m the one with sweaty ink smudges on my forehead and glitter stuck in my hair.

Jan Tinklenberg

Jan Tink BW

Guest Designer – May 2016

Jan Tinklenberg is a happily married mother of three children who has been playing with paper as long as she can remember. Jan knew from an early age that she wanted to be an artist and discovered a passion for paper sculpture in high school. She started college, only to find that paper arts were not considered “serious art” so she changed her emphasis to watercolor instead. After having her first child, Jan discovered stamping when she was going to MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), and it was then that a true obsession was born. Since then, Jan spent 13 years as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, dropping out in 2015, and she has been a member of a number of design teams including Splitcoaststampers original Dirty Dozen and their Creative Crew, as well as Flourishes LLC and Kitchen Sink Stamps, among others. Jan has been published in Paper Crafts Magazine’s special Stamp It issues, has been featured in Stampin’ Success magazine, and has designs published in two Annie’s Attic books, Interactive Cards 1 and 2. Jan is currently serving a term as a Tombow Brand Ambassador. Besides papercrafts, Jan loves to knit, plays the organ at the Episcopal church she attends, and is a medical transcriptionist.

Marisa Gunn

Marisa BW

Guest Designer – March 2016

My name is Marisa Gunn, and I live in the suburbs of Chicago. I have one furry roommate named Monty, an energetic, rescued Labrador mix. I have a full-time job in the computer industry, so creating helps me unwind and use the creative side of my brain. I am the classic definition of a “hobby demonstrator” with Stampin’ Up!, and get together regularly with my friends to share our creative time and inspire each other. I have been a “maker” since I was very young, and I have always loved the whole process of creating something with my hands. You could say that I have spent my life collecting hobbies and corresponding craft supplies. I have been stamping and scrapbooking for many years now, so these two hobbies in particular continue to inspire me. Currently my favorite things to design with are Project Life, watercolor, graphic elements and products that can be used to create a scene. I am currently on the 2015-2016 Artisan Design Team for Stampin’ Up!, and was on the 2012-2013 team as well.
